Day 1: Arrival and immersion in Papeete

I welcome you at Faa'a airport, where the mild warmth and the scent of tiaré blend with the excitement of a new journey. My first goal is to immerse you in the essence of Papeete, Tahiti's dynamic capital, and to capture the first moments that will echo through your entire photo collection.

The Papeete market

The Papeete market is the beating heart of the city. Between the tropical fruit stalls, the colorfully patterned fabrics, and the artisans crafting wooden souvenirs, every corner is a scene ready to be photographed. In my experience, mornings are best: the sun rises in the east, bathing the displays in soft light that highlights the natural tones of the fabrics. It's the perfect chance for me to photograph family and couple portraits, while capturing the authenticity of Tahitian daily life.

The seafront and Parc de la Mer

After the market, I lead you toward the seafront, where the Papenoo river meets the ocean. The Parc de la Mer, right next door, offers shaded trails and a view of the harbor. It's an ideal setting for couple photos, where turquoise water contrasts with the clear sky. As a photographer, I favor ambient light: I place my subjects so the sun creates subtle reflections on the water, all while preserving the natural feel of the landscape.

My Gold package for Papeete

In my Gold package, I offer you a 1h20 session in Papeete, including 40 retouched photos — ideal to immortalize those first moments. If you want a more complete memory, my Diamond package invites you to explore further: 2 hours on location, 60 retouched photos, and full guidance to help you choose the best shots.

I travel from Papeete to the other islands, but every day starts here, because it's the departure point for any Polynesian adventure. Shall we chat?

Day 2: Tahiamanu beach in Moorea and relaxation in Punaauia

I begin the morning on Tahiamanu beach in Moorea, one of the archipelago's most beloved beaches, where morning light reflects on fine sand and the deep blue lagoon. In my experience, it's the ideal place to capture moments of relaxation, whether it's a wave between friends or a moment of closeness between a couple. I make sure each shot tells the story of an authentic pause, without artifice.

An uncompromising natural setting

Tahiamanu has a unique layout: bright sand lined with sea grass and a view of Tahiti in the distance, creating an endless horizon. I take advantage of this panorama for outdoor portraits, where natural light enhances skin tones and the sparkle of the eyes. My clients often tell me they immediately feel the beach's energy in their photos, thanks to how I capture the play of light.

Relaxation at Punaauia beach

After a moment of rest, I take you to Punaauia beach, a peaceful setting lined with coconut trees. The late-day light there is especially soft, ideal for unfussy portraits. My clients love the relaxed atmosphere of this accessible, local spot.

Guiding my sessions, I offer a full experience: from a moment of relaxation on the beach to the closeness at the lagoon's edge, all captured with a natural documentary style and organic retouching. If you want to immortalize these moments, my Gold package includes both activities, along with a 1h20 session and 40 retouched photos.

Day 3: Accessible viewpoints in Tahiti

When I take you to Tahiti's viewpoints, it's above all a sensory experience. Leaving the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa, we drive to lookouts that reveal the island in a new light. In my experience, morning light at dawn brings out deep blue tones in the sky, perfect for capturing the contrast between the red earth and the turquoise sea.

An unmatched natural setting

On location, I encourage you to take a deep breath. The lookout offers a panoramic view of the entire island, with the ancient extinct volcano of Tahiti Nui as a backdrop. It's an ideal spot for portraits that blend nature and grandeur. I know light can be capricious, but I've learned to anticipate shifting shadows thanks to local weather; the clouds on Tahiti's ridges can create a dramatic effect on your face, while preserving the softness of diffused light.

Photo storytelling: your story at Tahiti's scale

I don't just take shots; I create a visual narrative. As we walk, I ask you to share your thoughts, your desires, your dreams. These moments translate into images that tell your story, like the Marae Taputapuatea, where every stone carries a memory. On these lookouts, each step becomes a chapter of your journey.

I also photograph moments of closeness, exchanged glances, simple gestures that capture the essence of your relationship. From these viewpoints, I take overhead shots, capturing the landscape's expanse like a mirror of your love.

This day is perfect for those wanting to immortalize an authentic adventure. If you want these memories framed in a premium experience, my Gold package includes a 1h20 session, 40 retouched photos, and full guidance from start to finish. Shall we chat?

Day 4: Cultural discovery at the Maison de la Culture and the Marae Taputapuatea

I photograph your exchanges with the local culture, immortalizing the rituals and encounters. From dawn, I head to the Maison de la Culture in Papeete, where the scent of tiaré drifts in the air. Temporary exhibitions feature works by Tahitian painters, and I've often seen visitors dive into the stories told by the guides. When I work with my clients, I try to capture those moments of wonder, when eyes light up in front of a fresco of the motu's history. In my experience, the best moment to shoot is just before the first golden light, when the sun reflects on the colorful stained glass.

Diving into the traditions

Then, I move to the Marae Taputapuatea, a sacred World Heritage site. The welcome ceremony is a real spectacle: chants, dance and offerings of tiaré flowers. I make sure to respect the pace of the rituals while capturing the spontaneity of ancestral gestures. The couples I work with often tell me they feel transported into the past, and the images I capture become tangible memories of this spiritual journey. The marae, located on the island of Raiatea, is one of the oldest in Polynesia, and its unique atmosphere brings out soft, warm light in my shots.

A personal perspective

I work closely with local organizers to ensure every moment is authentic. My Gold package includes extended shooting time, ideal for cultural sessions where I can follow the ceremonies and moments of sharing. By capturing these experiences, I offer you a collection of photos that tells not only your journey but also the richness of Tahitian tradition.
